Green Tree Collects for PACS
It is a tradition that the people of Green Tree church give to the Phoenixville Area Community Services (PACS). There is no better time to remember our needy neighbors. The Witness commission will place special boxes in the lobby of church between October 25th and November 22nd for donations of nonperishable foot items, paper products, baby products, and hygiene products. Green Tree PACS collection is our opportunity to give to people who are truly needy - so let's fill those boxes!

Help Decorate the Giving Tree
Starting November 22nd, a Christmas tree will be standing in the lobby of the church ready to be decorated with our gifts for Birthright and for Genesis. The "Giving Tree" will stay up until the end of December. Items needed are baby clothes (birth to 1 year), blankets, booties, bibs, socks, bottles, binkies, diapers, men's T-shirts - large to extra large, and baby hats. Birthright and Genesis help pregnant women who feel that their pregnancies are too much to bear alone.

Help Green Tree Collect Labels for Education
As a congreation we are working with Campbell's Labels for Education Program. This program benefits numerous nonprofit organizations that have an educational focus. We qualify for this program because of our Sunday School program.

We collect certain labels and barcodes from various products to accumulate points. These points make us eligible to purchase items for the church such as class room accessories, art supplies, computers and software, videos and DVD's, and if we are really eager, we can even purchase a vehicle such as a church van!

A form is posted on the bulletin board will a list of eligible products. Some products will have the Labels for Education logo on it, such as General Mills Cereal, Betty Crocker potatoes, Gold Metal flour, etc.

So far we have collected a total of 2,940 points! Let's keep it going and thank you to everyone for your participation.
