Pastor: David A. Leiter, Ph.D

Pastor Dave has been the lead pastor of the Green Tree Church of the Brethren since August, 2006. He has been an ordained minister for 21 years and served churches in Fairfax County, VA and Baltimore, MD. He also taught graduate school courses on a part-time basis for the Ecumenical Institute of Theology in Baltimore, MD for eight years.
Pastor Dave enjoys working with people of all ages and derives energy from preaching and teaching. He also feels a special calling to minister to persons in important and life-challenging situations, such as grief-work and spiritual coaching. He believes it is important to address the larger picture of the role of the church and to work with the Green Tree congregation to discern what it means to be followers of Christ in the 21st century.
Associate Pastor: J. Rodney O'Donnell

As Associate Pastor at Green Tree, Pastor Rod oversees the Outreach and Evangelism component of the congregation.
He also heads up the Young Adult ministry and provides pastoral care to the congregation
in conjunction with Pastor Dave. Rod is a dynamic preacher and shares the word of God
with enthusiasm and joy.
Rod is a bi-vocational pastor at Green Tree and is a salesperson for the steel industry.
Secretary: Mary B. Raudenbush

Mary has been the secretary of the Green Tree congregation since 1989. Mary enjoys working with the people of the congregation and is quite adept in juggling the many responsibilities of her position. Mary greets people with a pleasant voice for those who call the church and a pleasant smile for those who drop by. Her organizational and communication skills serve the congregation very well.
Minister of Music: Kirk Maurer

Kirk has been the Minister of Music at Green Tree for the past twenty years. As a professional musician, Kirk brings a wide variety of experience and talent to the music program. He directs the Chancel and Handbell choirs and leads the congregation in contemporary and traditional singing every Sunday. It is a joyful experience to hear Kirk play the congregation’s Baby Grand Piano.
